I stayed in Ras Dika for 2 nights and it was really good. It is exactly in the heart of the city and you can find the central market in few steps and many many restaurants around. The breakfast is simple but is very fresh and tasty. Munir is a great and he tried to make my stay easier with all the information he gave me. Great guy. Big rooms

I planned to stay for two nights only but I ended up staying 6 nights in total. And there are good reasons for this: The hotel is centrally located in the middle of the town. This comes with a beat of noise from the hustle and bustle of the city, however everything is easily accessible and within walking distance. And this is essential given the somewhat high taxi costs and the intense heat. But what makes this place very special and dear to me is the hotel staff. Many reviewers have mentioned it and I can only second that: from the Madame managing the place to the receptionist and guards - everyone is insanely helpful, friendly and will try to help you out on every issue you might face. Without their help my trip to Djibouti would have been way more stressful. Very good value for the price and the daily smiles make it even more worth it!

• the stuff we’re super nice! They help you with everything, literally. From transportation, tours organisation, and even helping those who are interested in filming and exploration. They even refused to take a tip, that was extremely nice of them. • location is great. It’s only 15 mins away from the airport. Located in the middle of the market, where shops and restaurants are all close. You can have a nice view at the Hamoudi mosque. • food is simple and local, but tasty and clean. I had a breakfast and it was tasty. • For a country in the African horn, the hotel is considered great! AC is cold, elevator is available, no bugs or mosquitoes.

I loved everything about this hotel—the facilities, the delicious breakfast, the strategic location, the affordable price, and the lovely, friendly team at Ras Dika Hotel. They helped me arrange a 2D1N tour through one of the travel agencies in town. However, I must admit that the experience with the travel agency was not pleasant. There were some misunderstandings, and I felt as though I had fallen into a scam trap set by the agency, which was quite unfortunate. What touched me deeply was how the team at Ras Dika Hotel went out of their way to help me and ensure my safety after learning about the incident. Their kindness made me feel at home, as if I were among friends. The people at Ras Dika are truly lovely. I can confidently say that I will 100% return to Ras Dika Hotel if I ever visit Djibouti again. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the famous Al-Hamoudi Mosque, next to a shopping mall, and within walking distance of Djibouti's largest mall, Bawadi Mall.

The lady who is managing this property, Neima, really made me feel at home in Djibouti! Even before I arrived she was doing tour agency work for me, she found ferry itinerary, even arranged complimentary taxi to the ferry terminal. In morning I overslept breakfast, when I was in lobby, she arranged coffee and big cake! Wi-fi working well! Location is in downtown, in real Djibouti. This country is not very friendly to tourists, but in Ras-Dika I was like in protected island. I have to mention on my last day after extremely hot day I kept my room until 5PM complimentary, to be able to have shower before flight. Taxi to the airport again was paid, I did not expect that at all. Forget to mention Ms Neima invited to have coffee together with her and the team, they had weekly staff meeting with coffee and snacks - amazing people.

Tldr; great service and central location First, the hotel is reasonably priced for a great central location with very good amenities. The rooms have AC, toiletries, clean sheets, TV, fridge, warm water. The Wi-Fi is strong and stable. Second, the staff is just amazing and we'd be able to provide guidance and help for both directions and any other logistical issues. Just ask. Third, the main city bus station is just around the corner. There are multiple business, restaurants and other amenities in the same block. I highly recommend this place.

I don't think you could ask for a better location for a hotel than the Ras Dika in Djibouti. It's right in the centre of the town in the ‘European quarter’, which is just a few blocks from the ‘African quarter’. It's a great area to walk around. It's lively into the evening and felt quite safe. All around the hotel are shops and restaurants Anna market. It's also right by a very notable mosque, so it's easy to find if you're walking around on your own or if you need to hire a taxi driver to take you back. I thought it was a great place for exploring on foot. I could walk almost everywhere I wanted to go, I even walked to top of the city to see the sunset on the sea and it was only about 40 minutes on foot. The hotel itself is kind of basic in the sense that it doesn't have a lot of amenities, but it has what you need. Large comfortable rooms with functioning air conditioning and comfortable beds. Bathrooms and showers that have hot water, an excellent free breakfast. The fellow that was working at the front desk during my stay, Al-Munner, really made the stay special. He spoke perfect English, which was great because my French is lacking. He was so helpful in all respects he took me out and showed me where to change money he arranged taxis for me at good prices, it gave me information about the neighborhood. All in all, a great stay. I can't recommend it more highly and I would stay there again.

Everything was really nice. The hotel is well located at the old city, so it's great for sightseeing. The rooms are excellent and probably the best price quality relation in Djibouti. The staff is very helpful, when they knew my flight time they gave me a late check up for free, wonderful when temperature outside is 40 degrees. Also were really nice hiring for me a taxi for the airport at locals price. They are always willing to help! Breakfast is also nice and, something important, AC and ventilators work perfectly -cannot imagine how to sleep without them-. In other words, really nice place. I recommend it.
